Rhyonna

Meet Rhyonna, my freckled red-haired elf lady.

I created her as counterpart for Ari [link] who basically is your stereotypic blonde elf girl. Actually I had a good-looking quite as stereotypic looking guy planned (yeah, but I was in the mood) but then Yonna plopped into my mind and now they are there.

Yonna's heritage is an unusal one, 'cause her mother is from a nothern elf clan that exerts in the use of all blades. Even their members look is unique: skin not quite as pearly as other elves, often with freckles and red hair in all its shades is common among them. Only, for the last few hundred years no one has seen or heard of an fire elf...

All other elves are only good with bows and other long-ranged weapons. No one ever thought to give Yonna knives instead of arrows and so she is made fun of for her poor bow shooting skills and unusual features.

She grows up traveling around with her father, who never tells her about her mother for reasons of his own and leaves her when she is in her early teens at the estate of an elf lord he is friends with.
There her life is not very easy with everyone mocking her but eventually a fragile thread of friendship forms between her and the lord's daughter Arilyn.

The following is basically a coming-of-age story. I'm still not sure how to_do_it. I guess it's going to be story-book like illustrations with a loose story wrapped around it.
